The Paddle for Life started after lifeguards from Fistral Beach held a Joe Way memorial paddle to raise money for charity in 2008.  Joe is the inspirational little boy who touched people's lives around the country and beyond.

Our aim is to raise awareness of Joe’s story and inspire people to raise money for their chosen charity.

2020 Paddle For Life

The date of the 2020 Newquay Paddle for Life is Thursday 18th June...  See you there...

Welcoming Nowhereisland

Written by Scott Dickinson on .

Thursday 23 August, 7pm, Towan Head to Newquay Harbour.

Come along and join our community board paddle to Welcome Nowhereisland to Newquay next week.

Sara Garner is organising a community Welcome Flotilla to celebrate the arrival of Nowhereisland as it approaches Newquay. The Flotilla will greet Nowhereisland on Towan Head and lead it into Newquay Bay:- accompanied by Newquay Rowing Club including The Newquay (the world's oldest working pilot gig which is 200 years old this year!), private boats from Newquay Harbour and a community board paddle.

Proceeds from the Flotilla will go to the Joe Way appeal for local charities. Joe Way Team Riders Matt Way & Tom Butler will lead the paddle - who else is in?
